BEAL ROPES AND HARNESSES NOW HAVE A DNA CODE

BEAL has not waited for regulation to give its ropes and harnesses a system of guaranteed traceability for life, and an infallible information key to its products. The first generation of ropes and harnesses integrating this service has been born. In effect, each product posesses a unique individual number from its manufacture which allows identification at any time. It’s partly its DNA code, we have thus baptised this identification system for Identification Number.

Raider RAIDER ropes have an aramid sheath, which requires specifi c precautions:
• To be used only by very competent people.
• Storage in a rope bag essential to protect the rope from light.
• Particularly close visual inspection before each use, aramid being more susceptible to abrasion than other fi bres.
Relationship between the time of exposure to high temperature and the residual strength of the aramide

Semi-static ropes specifi cally developed for rapid helicopter evacuation descents by special forces. Their Aramide® sheath does not melt, even when in contact with metal overheated by the descent.

Spliced eye

Tested and approved by special forces worldwide, BEAL Fast Rope
has been specifi cally developed for fast descent from helicopters without use
of a descender, just friction from a pair of gloves!
Its special construction allows precise and comfortable control during descent.
Fast Rope exists with two types of termination:
Spliced eye : A large splice, making it easy to fi x the rope from scaffolding
or a beam to simulate descent from helicopters.
M.F.T Multi Fit Termination : A swaged metal ferrule to allow rapid fi xing
and removal from the hooks found in most large helicopters.
